In a year marked by institutional risks, reforms with significant impacts on freedom, and high uncertainty, defending economic freedom and liberal democracy has been essential to protecting the conditions that allow people to work, undertake initiatives, and build their life projects.
This is precisely where ICP’s mission becomes most timely: generating rigorous knowledge to raise alerts, put forward proposals, and influence the debates that shape the country’s direction.
In 2025, this effort received international recognition: we were awarded the Latin America Liberty Award and were finalists for the Templeton Freedom Award for our defense of private property.
